
Premium Cotton T-Shirt Preparation for DTG Printing

Production of our T-shirts in DTG printing
1. 🔍 Selection and preparation of the material
- T-shirt selection: 100% combed ring-spun cotton
Quality control at the entrance: check sizes, colors, visual defects.
2. 🖥️ Graphic preparation
Files are checked and adapted for printing:
- Resolution 300 DPI
- PNG or TIFF format with transparency
- Colors optimized in RGB or according to RIP profile
Mockup and preview for internal or client approval.
3. 💧 Pre-treatment (dark/coloured garments only)
- Uniform application of pre-treatment liquid (manual or automated).
- Rolling or brushing for even absorption.
- Dry with heat press at 160°C for approximately 30–60 sec.
4. 🧺 Pre-pressing
- All items (even white ones) are pressed for 5–10 seconds:
- Removes moisture and creases
- Improves ink adhesion
5. 🖨️ DTG Printing
- Precise positioning of the t-shirt on the DTG printer.
- Loading the file into the RIP software.
- Print settings based on:
- Fabric color
- Drawing type (text, graphics, photos)
- Start printing.
6. 🔥 Ink fixing
- After printing, each t-shirt is heat pressed:
- 160°C for 90–120 seconds
- Protection with Teflon/silicone paper
- Alternative: industrial drying tunnel.
7. 🔎 Final quality control
- Check the print (centering, coverage, sharpness).
- Check for any pre-treatment residues.
- Check sizes and presence of labels.
8. 📦 Packaging
- Fold by machine or by hand.
- Insertion in envelope (optionally with logo).
- Labelling and barcoding (if required).
- Ready for shipping or storage.
